For over sixty years, Seven Oceans has been known as the world’s leading brand of emergency food and rations. This emergency ration consists of a box of 24 packets of 500 grams each. These packets are of superior quality, provide a balanced diet for survival situations and are guaranteed to have a shelf life of five years.
Each 500 gram packet of Seven Oceans emergency ration is vacuum packed in a three-layer, air and watertight foil, encased in sturdy water-resistant cardboard. Each packet contains nine bars of 55.6 grams, each containing 250 calories (total of 2500 calories per packet ). These bars are divided into two tablets, which are wrapped in greaseproof paper.
Seven Oceans Emergency Rations are approved worldwide for use on board lifeboats and liferafts, but are also ideal for use at home, in a Bug-out-Bag or at a Bug-out-Location. The high-quality packaging contains instructions for use in fourteen different languages and complies with the standards of SOLAS / ISO 18813:2006 and EU Directive 98/83.

This emergency ration has a guaranteed shelf life of at least 5 years. Although the official shelf life is 5 years, this does not mean that the food is immediately unfit for consumption. Seven Oceans products can often still be eaten after this period.
