The Sawyer Point One Squeeze SP129 is an ultra-compact water filter (13.6 x 9.8 cm) weighing only 85 grams. This filter provides access to clean drinking water anywhere, anytime. Easy to use, simply fill the included sachet at a lake, stream, or river, screw on the filter, and then squeeze the sachet to filter water directly into a bottle. Additionally, the filter screws onto most standard disposable water bottles, or you can use it as a gravity filter with the included mesh carrying case.

Excellent Filtration and Protection

With absolute filtration of 0.1 microns, the Sawyer water filter removes 99.99999% of bacteria, including salmonella, leptospirosis, cholera and E.coli. It also eliminates 99.9999% of protozoa, such as giardia and cryptosporidium, and 100% of microplastics. Sawyer’s innovative technology incorporates numerous ‘U’ shaped hollow fiber microtubes that trap contaminants while allowing clean water to flow freely at high velocity. This minimizes the need for water storage and reduces the risk of post-filtration contamination.

The filter membranes are robust and can withstand backwashing with the included syringe, restoring up to 98.5% of the original flow rate each time.
