The Sawyer Select S1 Foam Water Filter gives you the ability to have access to safe, clean drinking water anywhere. This system includes a sturdy silicone bottle equipped with a patented foam membrane and a 0.1 micron hollow fiber filter on top.
This filter reduces the presence of chemical compounds to just 0.5 parts per billion—which is 40 times below the EPA’s suggested upper limit—and reduces pesticides to 0.01 parts per billion, which is 400 times below the EPA maximum. Not only does the filter eliminate bacteria, protozoa, chemicals, and pesticides, it also noticeably improves the taste and odor of your water.
You can use the Sawyer Select S1 Foam water filter approximately 1,600 times before the filter needs to be replaced.
How do you use the Sawyer Select S1 Foam water filter?
- Unscrew the filter, fill the bottle to the 'Max Fill' line and screw the filter back onto the bottle.
- Squeeze the bottle in a rotating motion for 10 seconds.
- Drink directly from the filter or pour the water into another container.
